The Sacred Rights of Mankind are Written by the Hand of Divinity…

Alexander Hamilton

“The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for among old parchments or musty records. They are written, as with a sunbeam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the Hand of Divinity itself, and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.” – Alexander Hamilton  (January 11, 1755 or 1757 – July 12, 1804) was a Founding Father, soldier, economist, political philosopher, one of America’s first constitutional lawyers and the first United States Secretary of the Treasury.

  1. What a gorgeous quote!

    • Thank you! There was a consensus among many of our founding fathers that our basic human rights are not granted to us by man or the government of men but by our Creator. I am grateful for their wisdom, courage and passion to establishing one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.

      Thanks again!
